Stained glass door and window: Three steps to clean them

“Colour is, on the evidence of language alone, very bound up with feelings.”  Can you ever imagine the world without colours?  It would seem to be the most horrible place to live in. For instance red is the colour for love, passion, romance, energy while white refers to hope, simplicity, goodness, etc. Nothing in the world is colourless each and every element even air has color of its own.

This perhaps is one of the reasons that people in the yesteryears started with stained glass paintings, which are a mainstay of many archaic buildings such as churches. Today, you can find that many people are opting for this particular feature on their doors and windows to make their property look more alluring to the eyes.

Many firms such as Westley Vine Glass Craftsman provide a wide range of Stained Glass doors and windows, which you can avail for your space. Click here to have a look at their fascinating collection. Here I would like to mention some pointers below that will surely help you in the process of cleaning these types of doors and windows:
  • Use distilled water, a soft lint-free cloth and mild soap/cleaner that is not harsh or it will surely cause the paint to fade away. Collect these necessary things and then set out to clean the windows and doors.
  • Damp the cloth a bit and slowly start cleaning the glass. Be gentle and not too fast while cleaning. Take a very little quantity of the cleaners for this purpose.
  • When you are done cleaning the sections of your doors and walls, finish it off with a dry soft cloth to absorb the moisture, if any.
